Event Details
What:
The 2009 Beer Mat Challenge is designed to disseminate awareness of the entrepreneurship society by providing a forum for socialization. The event is an exercise to boost idea generation at the same time as meeting experienced people interested to support new business ventures.
Format:
- Teams of max 5 people. If you do not have a team, we will put you into one or you can work on your own too!
- Teams will be given exactly 3 beer mats, which will serve as your whiteboard.
- A theme will be given on the day of the event to build your business around.
- Teams will have 30 minutes to complete the task
- Teams will have 5 minutes to pitch the business idea to the judges and the larger group
The assessment will take place immediately after the presentations and the winner will have the opportunity to receive constructive feedback during an open session.
